Healthy Eating Initiatives

LCFHP supports around 400 healthy eating initiatives, food co-ops, community cafes and lunch clubs in Lanarkshire from our store in Bargeddie.

Projects can order produce and materials from us and it’s delivered when it suits.

Food Co-ops and Fruit & Veg Stalls

Our Food Co-ops and Fruit & Veg Stalls promote easy access to fruit and vegetables at low cost.

We have Fruit & Veg Stalls at a variety of sites throughout North Lanarkshire, times are listed below.

  • Monklands Hospital – Monday to Friday @ 1030am till 230pm

  • Wishaw Hospital  Every Tuesday and Thursday @ 9am till 1pm

  • Hairmyres Hospital – Every Wednesday @ 9am till 1pm

  • Houldsworth Centre Wishaw – Every Wednesday @ 9am till 1pm

  • Forgewood Community Centre – Every Monday and Friday @ 9am till 1pm

  • Law Hospital– Every Tuesday @ 10am till 12pm

  • Viewpark Community Centre – Every Wednesday @ 10am till 12pm

  • Burnhead Community Centre  – Every Tuesday @ 10am till 12pm

  • Coatbridge Health Centre – Every Monday 10am till 1pm

  • Community Action Newartill – Every Tuesday and Wednesday @ 10am till 12pm

  • Near Not Dear – North Motherwell – Home delivery

  • Bargeddie Food Coop – Home delivery
